Planning Permission Granted

Planning Approval has been granted by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council for a rear and side extension to an appealing family home in the Birmingham area. We will proceed with the next stages of the design leading up to and beyond an application for Building Regulation Approval.

The approval is most welcome as the proposal is set to transform this home which is a regular 1930’s property, with current emphasis on the front and rear formal rooms and a smaller traditional, separate kitchen. The proposal aims to enlarge and activate the kitchen space, adding a dining dimension, bringing it to the heart of the house and offering a great space to entertain.

Construction will involve the formation of steel skeleton to support connections to the host house as well as offer the opportunity for a lot of glass – glazed doors open up to a terrace space providing a great inside/ outside space.

Quality finishes promise to continue the look, with a beautiful ‘high end’ fitted kitchen system and some drama in a bespoke banquet seat.
